CCNEWS 11-20-11

Dear Christ's Church family and friends, This morning we are going to continue our exploration of the Testimony as we hear some wonderful testimonies from members of our congregation on God's faithfulness over this past year. We will also be hearing a testimony from Missionaries to Spain, Steve and Susan Kennedy. At the end of the service, we will take a Thanksgiving offering to bless the Kennedy's ministry! We will also have our brand new Book of Testimonies of the Fame of the Lord on display. We have received several testimonies already and I am excited to see how this book recording God's goodness grows! ________________________________________ On Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. we will be meeting for an Hour of Silent Prayer. Our last night of Silent Prayer was so powerful with prophetic words being released and sharing Holy Communion! I am looking forward to this time together. ________________________________________ Tuesday evening, November 22nd, we will be meeting together for our special Thanksgiving Service. This is a time where anyone who wishes can share a testimony of God's faithfulness over the past year. We end this serve by sharing Communion together. CCNEWS 11-13-11

Good morning Christ’s Church family and friends, Today I am sharing a very special message that I have titled “Your Testimony Is Important.”  Along with this sermon, I am going to be introducing something new for our members at Christ’s Church that I know will be a treasure to our congregation for today and into the future.  I am excited!  This is the culmination of something the Holy Spirit spoke into my heart in the Spring and I know it will be a blessing. On Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. we will be having a special time for Married Couples.  Come ready to share a movie, some popcorn and a very special new challenge for couples that I know will bless your marriage!  If you have not signed up, you can still add your name to the sign up sheet located at the welcome center. CCNEWS 11-6-11

Good morning Christ’s Church family and friends! Can you believe it is November??   Wow.  The year is drawing to a close as we quickly approach the Holiday Season!   Remember that today is the end of Daylight Savings Time and so remember to set your clock back one hour.  Fall back as we move our clocks back to normal time. I want to thank every one of you who worked so hard on Sunday afternoon last week as we conducted our Harvest Festival outreach to our community.  If you did not see earlier reports, we are estimating that we had over 500 people attend our Truck or Treat Outreach and we had the privilege of praying for many and sharing the Word of God with many who have never heard some of the Bible Stories we shared.   This was one of our most successful outreaches and I am so blessed with your heart to serve those who do not know Christ. This Sunday I am completing our series on Fan or Follower?    This has been a challenging series and I know God has brought many to a new level in their relationship with Christ as we follow our Lord and King.  …
