Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday I am going to be sharing a simple message that I have titled "Love!"     We are loved by God in ways that define us and transform us!    My heart is ready to be transformed and I pray you are ready too! On Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. we will be meeting for a Married Couples Sweetheart Banquet.   Please note that sign up for this event is now closed. Important notice:  Remember that this week we will NOT be meeting for Influence Prayer!   Influence Prayer will resume on February 21st. We have made Valentine's Day cards available on a table in the foyer.  We want to encourage you to pick a few of these cards up, and send them to someone you would like to speak words of encouragement too.   Recently I overheard a husband and wife as they stood near the table as the wife admonished her husband with these words: "MY card better not come from off that table."  So men, make sure you get your wife a fond expression of your love from somewhere besides the card table. Hello Christ's Church family and friends, There is so much going on at Christ's Church.  These newsletters are getting longer and longer so read carefully as you do not want to miss anything new! This Sunday morning I am going to be sharing a message titled "Jesus is God's Answer!"   I know this message will encourage you.  We will also close our Sunday morning worship service with Holy Communion!  I have an expectant heart and look forward to our time of worship on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon we have a Men's Fellowship beginning at 5:30 p.m.   We will be watching the "big game" along with other activities.   I will be sharing a message to challenge you during the half time program.   Please bring a snack to share with others.  The church will be providing coffee and lemonade.  Also bring any board games you might enjoy if you are not a football fan.
