CCNEWS 4-1-12

Hello Christ's Church Family and Friends, Praise God for another fantastic week with so many things to give thanks for!   A rocking service last Sunday morning, New Membership Orientation and a great GO! Galveston Outreach.   Then we had a great turn out for INFLUENCE PRAYER on Tuesday, amazing Small Group Bible Studies on Wednesday nights and then the UHCL Chi Alpha rocked out some amazing Chili while sharing Christ at the UHCL Chili Cook-off Saturday!   Praise God for His Work! This Sunday we have another busy but wonderful day.   Here is a quick outline of Sunday activities! 9:00 a.m. - New Believers Class - This week's topic - The Holy Spirit 10:00 a.m. - Worship and the Word - This Sunday I am closing out my series on "People of Influence"  with a message that I know is going to challenge you! 3:00 p.m. - Spring Outreach All Workers Assemble!   Prayer and Setup 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Spring Outreach   -  We need lots of help so please come and be a part!!! Hello Christ's Church family and friends, Today I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all who came out for Sparkle Day!   We had an amazing turn out and accomplished so much.  Mulch for the playground, new flooring in the store room, kitchen cleaned, painting, cleaning, door seals, bug killer and fertilizer and the list goes on and on!   Thank you for making our buildings sparkle!   And thank you to Dennis Knutson for organizing they work and keeping the day flowing! We have something new for our members that use ITunes.   If you are an ITunes user, you can now listen to our Sunday sermons via the ITunes store.  All sermons are FREE and Podcasts are now available.  You can subscribe to Podcasts and listen on the go, for those times when you need to listen again or missed the service.   Just search "myccag" under the search function within ITunes and you will find Christ's Church!  And remember if you are traveling the service is broadcast live via our website at www.myccag.com This Sunday morning I am going to be continuing the challenge God has placed on my heart for us to be people of INFLUENCE as we examine…

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This past week we moved our website server to give us better speed and stability. During that process any email you might have sent to our staff via the @myccag.com may not have been received. I suggest resending any email messages that you might have sent Wednesday - Friday. Sorry for the inconvenience. The site and email are back to normal. This Sunday we are going to continue our look at our call to be people of Influence as we look at Reframing Our Lives. If you missed the previous teachings in this series, please check our website at: www.myccag.com On Sunday afternoon at 6:00 p.m. we will be gathering for a time of Intercessory Prayer. Come ready to pray! We will also be receiving Communion during this service. Join us on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. for INLFUENCE PRAYER. On Sunday March 25th following the morning service we will be holding a New Member Orientation and Luncheon. If you would like to become a member of Christ's Church, this meeting is a requirement.
