CCNEWS 6-17-12

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, What a FANTASTIC week is has been with VBS!   This was the BEST VBS I have ever seen.  We had over 105 children during the week and everything went smoothly with many lives influenced and changed by the Holy Spirit over the course of the week.  God answered our prayers in such amazing ways.  THANK YOU to the incredible team who worked tirelessly through the week, many times not even going home until late in the evening; your labor has changed many lives and I am so privileged to work alongside you in ministry!   We had 53 volunteers working at a variety of roles throughout the week at VBS, being Jesus to a new generation! And I must also say a special thank you to the cleanup crew who worked Friday night late and most of the day Saturday getting our buildings put back together! We will be sharing a report on Sunday from the VBS, along with a video. CCNEWS 6-10-12

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, What a busy week we have just had!   VBS preparation have our buildings slowly being transformed into an underwater adventure land.   Are you ready to DIVE IN!!!    A huge thanks to Lisa LeVrier, Susan Crnkovic, Pastor Vera, Pastor Diane, Tara Sands and many others who have labored so hard to put this together.   This is going to be a fantastic week of adventure and fun and more importantly the Kingdom of God coming to the lives of many children! Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - Noon we will be Diving Into our Vacation Bible School.  Please remember to pray every day for this outreach.  Especially pray for health and strength for the workers and for the Kingdom of God to be established in the lives of every child.  We have been asking God for 10 families to be added to our fellowship through this outreach! There is so much to do so if you are available come on out and lend a hand! Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. we have our VBS Celebration.  Come out and meet people and fellowship as we celebrate the children and what God has done in their lives…

CCNEWS 6-3-12

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday we will be continuing our Search for Child Like Faith.  The sermon title for this Sunday is "Wild Abandon."   I am so looking forward to this service and what God has for us!  We will also be honoring our Graduates in our morning service this Sunday! We will also be holding our last Vacation Bible School Bake Sale this Sunday at the Coffee Bar in the Ed Center.  Come on out and support our VBS and get some goodies! Sunday evening our men will be meeting at 6:00 p.m. for a Men's Fellowship. We will be sharing a meal, a time of worship and continuing our Courageous discussion.  Men I look forward to our time together and hope to see you there. Here is this week's blessing: In the name of Jesus, I bless you with the promises of God that are yes and Amen.
