Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This has been an exciting week with last Sunday's very successful GO! Galveston outreach and the great Blood Drive on Wednesday night.  I love how our members are stepping outside themselves and showing Jesus to those in need!   I love Pastoring a congregation that lives as the church rather than just goes to a church! This Sunday we are continuing our series on Child Like Faith with "Irresponsible Passion!"   As we become child-like in our faith, may we see the Kingdom of God established in even greater ways around us. Sunday afternoon we have a Men's Fellowship starting at 6:00 p.m.   Men come ready for some sandwiches and some great discussion!  The Bible tells us that just as "Iron sharpens Iron" that men getting together to share and fellowship causes us to be sharpened!  Come and join us. This week due to the 4th of July holiday we will NOT be meeting for INFLUENCE Prayer.  INFLUENCE Prayer will resume next week on July 10th. Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday I am resuming our series on the Search for Child Like Faith with a sermon I have titled "Wide Eyed Listening."    It has been so exciting to hear how God has been moving in people's lives through this series and has challenged us.  If you missed any of the previous weeks, you can listen to them at our website www.myccag.com or via ITunes. Sunday is also our GO! Galveston Outreach.   We will be meeting at the church at 2:30 p.m. and heading down to the island.  There will also be a brief meeting after the morning service for those participating in the outreach. As this Sunday is Connection Sunday there is no evening service.    Royal Rangers and MPact Girls are also not meeting. Tuesday evening we will be resuming INFLUENCE Prayer at 7:00 p.m.  Come and join us as we pray! Our Royal Rangers and IMpact Girls need our help.  They are looking for donations of empty 2 Liter Bottles (with caps).  Please wash the bottles and drop them in the box in the Foyer.  They need 12 bottles!
