CCNEWS 9-1-13

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday I am going to be sharing a message titled "Why We Share Communion."   We will also be sharing in Holy Communion at the end of the service.  I look forward to sharing something new about Communion with you this Sunday that God has spoken to my heart this week. Sunday afternoon, come on out for Royal Rangers and Mpact Girls beginning at 4:30 p.m.   At 5:00 p.m. join us for REFRESHING PRAYER.    The Wall of Intercession is continuing to grow and it is exciting to see how many prayers have already been answered!  God is moving and this is a great opportunity to spend some time in prayer. Remember that the church office is closed on Monday for Labor Day! $1ü  Tuesday morning our Ladies Bible Study will be meeting at 10:00 a.m.   Ladies come on out and enjoy a time of studying Intercessory Prayer and then spending some time praying together!  $1ü  Tuesday evening we will be gathering for SUMMER SCHOOL OF PRAYER at 7:00 p.m.  Come out and join us as we pray! Wednesday evening we will be gathering for Small Group Bible Studies.  We have classes for all ages. …

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday I am going to be sharing a message that I have titled "The Nature and Action of Repentance."   Come ready to be challenged as God speaks to our hearts drawing us to Him and preparing our hearts for what He has for us next! Sunday afternoon we will be stepping out on our GO! Galveston Outreach.   Meet at the church at 2:30 p.m. and we will travel to the Island for a great time of sharing Christ's love with the lost!   Remember that we will not be meeting for Mpact Girls or Royal Ranger, or REFRESHING PRAYER and there is no evening service.   GO! $1ü  Tuesday morning our Ladies Bible Study will be meeting at 10:00 a.m.   Ladies come on out and enjoy a time of studying Intercessory Prayer and then spending some time praying together!  $1ü  Tuesday evening we will be gathering for SUMMER SCHOOL OF PRAYER at 7:00 p.m.  Come out and join us as we pray! Hello Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday we will continue our series on Pursuing God in Prayer with the 6th message I have titled "Prayer and Fasting."  I am looking forward to what the Lord has for us this week!! Sunday afternoon beginning at 4:30 p.m. our Mpact Girls and Royal Rangers will be meeting together as they continue with their Summer Olympic Challenges!   They are having a great time and learning about Jesus.  Send your children to these wonderful Discipleship opportunities. We have a new ministry that continues this Sunday afternoon starting at 5:00 p.m. called "Refreshing Prayer"   Refreshing Prayer is one hour of silent prayer that will meet each week in the Worship Center from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.   Rebecca Sauer will be leading this wonderful new time of prayer and seeking God.   I want to encourage you to come out and spend some time in the presence of God.   Refreshing Prayer will meet every week except for the 4th Sunday due to the GO!
