Good morning precious Christ's Church family and friends, What a fantastic week it has been in the House of the Lord. Every night was wonderful. My two favorite times were Thursday night as Sarah LeVrier taught on healing and we spent time praying together for needs, and then Friday, I cannot even begin to describe the way God met with us. One person remarked that they had been saved for over 60 years and they have never had a revelation like God brought to us as we concluded that time of prayer. The presence of God was so powerful that I have to say I have never experienced anything that can even get close. It was as if God opened a door from heaven, into our auditorium and walked in. I look forward to how God continues to move in our lives and our services. This Sunday I am beginning a series I have titled "The Joy of Giving." We will be also baptizing several in water in the morning service. Also remember that this Sunday afternoon we will be taking down all the Christmas decorations beginning at 4:00 p.m.. Bring a snack to share as we fellowship and work.…

Good Morning Christ's Church family and friends, 2011 is off to a running start and I am looking forward to what God has for us in this coming year. This Sunday I have felt the Holy Spirit speaking to my heart to share on Water Baptism and how important it is for Christians. We will be baptizing those who need to be baptized in water on Sunday January 9th in our 10:00 a.m. service. If you want to be baptized in water, please let us know. This week we will be participating in our annual Week of Prayer. As we move through this week, I have felt the Holy Spirit directing me that we should read and mediate and pray the book of James. So each day, beginning Monday – Friday, please read one chapter out of James. As you mediate on the scriptures also pray what you see expressed as the Holy Spirit directs you. Here is this week's schedule of prayer services: • Sunday January 2nd – 6:00 p.m. - Night of Praying the Word• Monday January 3rd – 7:00 p.m. - Night of Silent Prayer (James chapter 1)• Tuesday January 4th – 7:00 p.m. – Prayer For…

Good morning precious Christ's Church Family and Friends, Today's Bible reading is: Matt. 26:3-16; Psalms 41:9; Mark 14:12-31 When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he gave her a startling announcement. He said in Luke 1:35-36 "The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God." There is a striking similarity between Mary conceiving and what happens at our Salvation. When you and I come to know Christ and receive forgiveness of our sins, and invite Him to come live within our hearts, I want you to know that the Holy Spirit comes on us, and the power of the Most High overshadows us and the life of Jesus Christ is born within us. We do not conceive a physical life, but the spiritual life of Jesus in the Person of the Holy Spirit. It is the indwelling powerful Person of the Holy Spirit Who sets us free from the habits of sin. And the power to live a life pleasing to God is directly related to how much control of our…
