CCNEWS 4-17-11

Hello precious Christ's Church family and friends, God is moving and it is an exciting time we are living in. I find my heart bubbling over with expectation of what God is doing in our community! Today in our morning service I will be sharing Part 7 in our series Exploring God's Love! Attached is the mediation and scripture passages I will be using so that you can spend some time meditating over God's Word this coming week. At 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. we will be gathering for our Spring Outreach. We will have an Egg Hunt for the children sponsored by our Young Adult Ministry and food and fun for all ages. Come out and join is as we reach out into our community with the message of God's love as demonstrated through the life, death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We are going to have such a great time. Some things to note for your calendar: April 22nd – Good Friday - 7:00 p.m. service. CCNEWS 4-10-11

Hello Precious Christ's Church family and friends! Thank you so much for your prayers for me over this past week. I have not had any attacks of this illness since Sunday and have been feeling much stronger. Even my hearing in my left ear is somewhat restored! I know God is moving and will heal me. God is so good! This Sunday I am going to be continuing our series on Exploring The Love of God. This will be # 6 in the series and I am excited as I hear the reports of what God is doing in your lives. Attached is the guide for week 6. Also we will be baptizing several at the conclusion of the morning service. In our Intercessory Prayer Sunday evening, that prayer service will be led by our International Student Ministries! We will be focusing on praying for the nation of India and hearing their perspective on their nation. Come ready to learn and pray! Hello Precious Christ's Church family and friends, It's time for our SPRING MISSIONS EMPHASIS! Today we will be hearing from Don and Melba Exley, Missionaries to Argentina in our morning service and then in our 5:30 p.m. Taste the Foods of the Nations Banquet, we will be hearing from Autumn Starnes, Missionary to Thailand. Come ready to give an offering to bless these missionaries! I have such expectation in my heart as to what God is going to have for us! In preparing for our Summer Vacation Bible School, we will be holding a bake sale before and after the morning service. Drop by the coffee bar and grab some tasty baked goods and help support our VBS! I have heard that Sandra Bartlett has donated some homemade Mango Habanera Jellies, so come early! Join us Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for Launching Pad Prayer as we prepare our hearts for the services! If you have not picked up your recipe for the Taste the Foods Banquet, there are still some available in the foyer for you to pick up after the morning service.
